The owner Christa, started Hansel und Gretel in 1992. The Strudel Bar was born in 2003. Her clothing shop ‘Uber’ was born in 2006.
Both Hansel und Gretel and Uber come from her Southern German family roots and her love of the Alpine mountains and the Alpine lifestyle.
To our friends and customers - we have now shut our doors in Bath.
Hansel und Gretel are relocating to the countryside to enable us to follow our wish and create the true ‘Alpine Lifestyle’ that we have always dreamed.
We have enjoyed every moment here since 1998 but we are very excited about our new venture.
We hope to continue our success and extensive acclaim both in print and broadcast media (even as far as Australia - there ‘The Sydney Morning Herald’ did a double page spread about us!)
